So, Jenna came out to spin and we went to the barn to see Luna's baby. We noticed one of the other ewes, Channa, walk away from the feeder and mosey into the barn looking very uncomfortable. A sure sign her time was here, but these things usually take time. As the sun started to set, we got a little chilly and decided to wait for Adriennne and Finn in the Meetinghouse. When they arrived, Sam met them at the barn and Adrienne exclaimed, "I didn't know you had three lambs!" This was a shock to Sam, who rushed to the Meetinghouse to inform us. So Channa gave birth to a set of twins ewes and had them up and nursing in, say, 20 minutes. Hope this is a sign of more good things to come. Yes, one of the lambs has some strange markings! Did you ever see a lamb that looked like it was wearing a saddle?
