Sweet Home Farm's First Lamb

Luna, the self appointed queen of Sweet Home Farm, started the lambing season off today with a lovely little ewe lamb. Dear Luna, picked a warm sunny day to effortlessly (or so it seemed) deliver this little beauty. Here they are out in the pasture nose to udder and nose to bottom in typical sheep fashion! Mother and baby are now tucked away in the barn where Luna polished off a scoop of corn and a gallon of water while her lamb dozed. Spring weather, and a new lamb - life is good.

Christmas Eve Dinner

Christmas Eve Pot Luck continues to be a favorite holiday tradition for the Meetinghouse crowd. This year was the largest gathering yet, with good food, great friends and holiday spirit galore!

Christmas Hats

All the nieces and nephews donned hand knit or crocheted hats for Christmas. The hats were all finished before Christmas day. Sister Wendy's socks, however, were cast off around 2:00 am Christmas Morning. Dear friend Norma Jean's fingerless mitts were still damp when received!

Jenna Spins!

Jenna amazed the Second Sunday crowd with her nack for knitting. She started knitting in March and hasn't stopped yet! Now she's a girl who knows what she likes and naturally she likes handspun yarn. So how does a college student budget for handspun yarn? She learns to spin it herself! Here is Jenna's first skein of handspun yarn. She spun it last night - she's probably knitting it up today! Adrienne thinks Jenna "sprung from the head of the yarn goddess".

Toni's Shawl

If you happened to run in to Toni in the last few months, whether at the Farmer's Market, at work, on a plane, in the Caribbean, at home or at the Meetinghouse, you've probably admired this shawl in progress. She has created quite a buzz as she worked her magic with the needles. Don't you agree it was worth the effort? Beautiful, beautiful!
